The CIF-SS softball playoffs move into the second round Tuesday with rivals Orange County live in all seven divisions. Here are some of the best games:

Villa Park vs. Orange Lutheran, Division 1: 2nd seed Spartans (24-4) and co-champions Trinity Lancers (20-8) will play at Barry Turner Field near Foothill High due to a re-turfing project at Orange Lutheran. The Lancers beat Villa Park 3-2 in the quarter-finals of the Michelle Carew Classic but Spartan star Sydney Somerndike (14-0) ruled out with an ankle injury. Committed Arizona is back in form but faces battle with rising stars Kai Minor (0.545, seven home runs, 20 bases stolen) and Arkansas-bound Kiki Estrada (0.514, eight home runs).

Viejo Mission in Sonora, Division 2: 2nd seed Diablos (22-5) faced a staggering Raiders (13-11). Coach Michelle Rodriguez’s side finished third in the Freeway League but beat Pacific Coast League champions Beckman 9-5 in the first round on the back of contributions by freshmen Bayle Hunnicutt (12 strikes in 5 2/3 innings) and Brooke Piwowar (2 RBI). Sophomore ace Sofia Elliott of South Coast League champions Mission Viejo sharply won 1-0 against El Segundo in the first round.

Bonita at Kennedy, Division 3: The Fighting Irish (18-10) hosted the Bearcats (23-5-1), who were seeded first after Canyon missed the playoffs. Kennedy has won five games in a row, including a 10-0 win against Coachella Valley in the first round on the back of two home runs by Oklahoma State-bound Claire Timm.

Newport Harbor at Lompoc, Division 4: Featured Sailor No. 4 (18-6) will make the long trip to the coast to take on Channel League runners-up Lompoc (22-7). The Sailors opened the playoffs with a 5-0 win against Twentynine Palms behind two hitters McKayla Cotton and home runs and triples by Chase Dionio.

El Toro vs. Paraclete, Division 5: The second-seeded Chargers (16-8) face League runners-up Gold Coast Paraclete (22-6-1) at Marie Kerr Park in Palmdale. The Chargers cruised past Rancho Alamitos 12-0 in the first round behind a combined 10 RBI driven by juniors Brianna Bozych, Camryn Smith, MacKenzie Ward and sophomore Kylie Loertscher.

Katella at Mayfield, Division 6: 2nd seed Knights (17-7) played Mayfield (15-8-1) at Pasadena Poly High after surviving the horrors of the first half. Katella beat Lakeside 3-2 on the back of a six-hitter and seven strikeouts by Samantha Saldivar. Mayfield finished third in the Prep League.
