Viewers of ITV Britain’s Got Talent make the same minute Amanda Holden complain into the show

Britain’s Got Talent reappeared on screens on Saturday night – albeit a little later than usual. The latest installment of ITV’s scouting show was delayed by a few minutes as the FA Cup final match between Liverpool and Chelsea was going to be on penalties.

But apart from the nail-biting on the pitch, viewers were divided on whether to watch rival BBC One for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest. @bhoy_irish tweeted: “What to watch? #BGT or #Eurovision.” Meanwhile @StevenLovatt90 wrote: “I’m here on Saturday night but won’t be watching #BGT, it’s all about #Eurovisiontonnight! Let’s go! Come on #SamRyder.”

BGT’s latest installment has finally made its way with a nod to the mime favorite thanks to acting number one Dame Nation, who peppered the lyrics of ‘It’s Raining Men’ with ‘It’s Raining Dames’. But it wasn’t long before fans of the show complained about judge Amanda Holden.

The TV star was back with Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams when 14-year-old comedian Eva took the stage and told the jury she wasn’t nervous at all. The teenager, who suffers from cerebral palsy, was a hit in front of four judges and the London Palladium crowd.

But when she performed, the audience couldn’t help but comment on the habits of 51-year-old Amanda. @kelli3louise tweeted: “Here comes Amandas chuckling #bgt.” @lukeh1011 angry: “Oh my God, Amanda, annoying fake laugh, SILENCE! #BritainsGotTalent #BGT.”

@selinaarmstrong commented: “Why does Amanda’s laugh sound like fingernails on a #BGT blackboard.” @@tbykim wrote: “Amanda’s laugh is terrible #bgt.”

@tbykim shared: “I had a bad dream about amanda’s fake laugh #BGT.” @arty566 added: “Alexa!!! Stop Amanda chuckling like a witch! #BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”

Amanda was watching 14 year old comedian Eva perform at the time

However, fans don’t seem too bothered as they give a lot of credit to student Eva who makes fun of her disability and is from the Black Lands. @MrDeanR95 tweeted: “Absolutely love Eva on Britain’s Got Talent tonight. Just pointing out that disability doesn’t stop you from living your life to the fullest. I would love to see her do more of her standing routine in the next round. Good to you girl!! # BGT #BritainsGotTalent.”

@IanMcGillivra17 wrote: “Eva is something of a rarity in comedy these days she is funny, brave and confident for a young girl #BGT.” @Amy80115720 added: “Eva is such a lovely person, so funny and witty, and watching her dad in the audience was heartwarming #BGT.”
