Who Produces Candy?
The series creators and co-executive producers are Nick Antosca and Robin Veith. Antosca previously co-created Hulu’s highly acclaimed original miniseries, The Act. A series of criminal murders starring Patricia Arquette and Joey King. Antosca is also the co-creator of Brand New Cherry Flavor, a Netflix original limited horror series in 2021.
Veith is a well-known television writer best known for his work on the AMC series Mad Men. He received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series for co-writing the final episode of season 1, “The Wheel.” Antosca and Veith co-wrote the first episode of Candy together as they join the creative department for the next series.
Jessica Biel’s Effort
In addition to acting in the series, Biel also serves as an executive producer, as he did in the debut season of the American television series The Sinner. Biel also played a woman suspected of murder in the widely acclaimed murder mystery series, and she served as executive producer of the following seasons. Melanie Lynskey opposite Biel as the murder victim of Betty Gore.
